Genetic Testing for Cosmetic Companies; Spas & Resorts;
Fitness Centers, Supplement Manufacturers and Anti-aging Clinics
Genomics International USA offers a base of targeted genetic assessments for our clients – which they can private label or co-market with us on our genetic assessment kit packaging.
Additionally, we can provide custom analysis and formulation of genetic assessments specific to our client's product requirements.
By using scientific information and tools to explore their DNA our client's customers make lifestyle and consumer choices based on their genes.
At Genomics International we use well-established genotyping to explore relevant variants in the DNA from saliva collection swabs. Our tests employ several platforms under laboratory conditions including the Affymetrix GeneTitan and 7900HT Fast Real-Time PCR instrumentation to detect single nucleotide polymorphisms, frequently called SNPs the most common type of genetic variation among people.
All of the laboratory testing for Genomics International is done in a CLIA-certified (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments), CAP-accredited (College of American Pathologists) laboratory in the United States.
Genomics International Genetic Testing results are for the informational and educational use of consumers in making their lifestyle and consumer choices based on their genetic makeup.
Genomics International Genetic Testing reports are not intended to diagnose or inform health status or to be used to make medical decisions.
Genomics International Cosmetic Genetic Testing for skin helps individualize your customers choice of cosmetics. Off the shelf skin care products may be loaded with potentially beneficial ingredients, but they are not all necessarily what your customer specifically needs. Genomics International tests for variation in genes that contain instructions for how fast the body degrades collagen and maintains antioxidant protection. Epigenetic factors are also assessed that can influence wrinkling and aging skin.
Your customers genetic potential is determined in one, two, three, four, five or more areas of skin potential by analyzing one or more skin condition-associated SNPs (single nucleotide polymorphisms) or other genetic markers associated with skin status. Skin vitality can include areas such as collagen formation, sun protection, antioxidant protection, glycation protection and inflammation control. The generated profile reveals your customer's genetic strengths, weaknesses and/or risks thereby allowing a personalized cosmetic approach.
One of the biggest challenges involved in introducing genetic testing services into spas, resorts, fitness centers and anti-aging clinics has been finding qualified partners to administer and interpret the results.
Our non-invasive tests don’t involve drawing blood or taking urine samples. We require only a saliva sample which your customer collects and sends to us for analysis at our CLIA-certified and CAP-accredited labs.
From the lab results we generate personalized cosmetic, vitality, fitness and vitamin and nutritional regimens that can help individually tailor your customer's experience.
Genomics International Vitamin and Dietary Supplement Genetic Testing can help your customers optimize their choice of vitamins and dietary supplements corresponding to their unique genetic profile.
We can tailor your customer's genetic testing based on your company's vitamin and supplement focus:
Your customer will receive a private report with recommendations for vitamins, minerals, herbs, amino acids and enzymes aligned with their unique DNA assessment.
"I want to access my DNA lifestyle protocols, anytime and anyplace, and be able to order my spa personal care items and supplements online."
"I want to practice Tai Chi with my spa virtual instructor, then I need to re-order some of the supplements that are in my lifestyle plan"
"Oh yes we need to apply our Wellness Navigator discount to our reservation at the Spa on November 20th-25th."
When your customers receive the results from their genetic test kits they decide how their personal genetic information is used and shared to enhance their cosmetic, spa and supplement products. We will not share your customer's personal data or report with anyone except your customer.
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) sets the standard for protecting data. Our software and servers are HIPAA compliant, meeting government security standards for data transmission and storage. We use industry preferred encryption products to protect customer data during transmissions between the customer’s network and the service, plus a commercial-grade firewall as the first line of defense for unwanted access to the system
Private Labeling can be an important step in establishing and maintaining your account base. Marketing products with your name, logo, design, and address on the package helps to ensure that customers identify with your company both for genetic testing and your product purchases.
Our "co-marketing" genetic testing kit is designed to allow your customer to generate a genetic profile by obtaining a DNA sample at home, at your retail site, or anywhere, with the kit which includes an instruction booklet, a questionnaire, a DNA swab, and a collection envelope with desiccant to place the specimen in after collection.
Your customer registers the kit online at time of purchase and the sample is then returned to us in a pre-paid envelope for analysis and evaluation and a private report is generated for your customer.
When the report is ready to view on our secure site your customer is notified by email and can view the report securely via desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone. The scientifically-based report provides individualized cosmetic, spa/fitness, vitamin and dietary recommendations aligned with your customer's DNA.

A custom genetic test is defined as a product made exclusively for your company to your exact specifications that features your product strengths. Such targeted testing might range in complexity from a single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) test to examination of several different SNPs including whole genome sequencing.
